How NoteVault handles your data.

What we collect

When you create an account we store your email address, a securely hashed password, your name if you provide one, and the notes you save. We do not store your password in readable form.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. With your consent we may use minimal analytics to understand general usage. You can decline analytics in the banner shown on your first visit, and analytics never run before you accept.

Third parties

We use Stripe to process payments, Resend to send account emails, and a hosted database and error-tracking service to run and maintain the product. These providers process only the data needed to do their job.

Your rights

You can export all of your data as a file, or delete your account and everything in it, from your dashboard at any time. Deleting your account removes your notes and account record.
